Ayame slept fitfully through the rest of the night so when the sun rose she was more than ready to get up. She rolled out of her hammock and ran her hands through her hair. She climbed above deck and leaned over the railing to splash some water on her face to wake her up. She stretched and waved to Mugen, "Good morning."

Mugen's face wasn't drawn with sleep in any way, as he walked about the deck dropping anchors. "Good morning." He kept racing around the ship as if looking for something along the sides of it. "Good news, it seems I'm as good a sailor as I talk myself up to be. These ruins of yours had coral reef everywhere, it was like a labyrinth trying to get close. I would reccomend learning your way through it so you don't need me every time."

Ayame smiled "Well I have a plan for that. Once I have a water bender or two in the resistance they can take us over this reef no problem. Plus it's a great natural defense against the fire nation. They won't be able to negoitate it and their ships will sink." Honestly she had just thought of that but she knew it might actually work. The reef would slow others down and make it easier for the resistance to tell if they were friend or foe.

She took a good look at Mugen. She was really surprised that he didn't look tired at all. Maybe he was good at hiding it or maybe he just really didn't need sleep. Either way she was glad they were within sight of the ruins. Soon she would be on land and setting up the resistance. "Well I'm glad I found such a good captain," she smiled.

"I'm sure." He began lowering the life boat into the water, "We should get going, I can't get the ship itself any closer to land than this, so we'll be needing to take the lifeboat." They both got in and Mugen rowed his way through the reefs to the land.

OOC: I'm thinking we should probably continue this from here on your island, since that's the setting now.
