The other Leiko smiled. "I am you, remember? I don't like accepting defeat." she said, as the hilt pieces returned to her and formed the hilt once more. The other pool of metal also formed back into the blade it had once been. "So, ready for round two?" she said, with a air of cockiness.

Leiko smiled secretly. "Let round two begin then." She began circling, looking for an opening. She was gonna play this one smart instead of impulsive.

The other Leiko also circled, waiting for a opening to show itself. It seemed that she also was going to go safe rather than sorry.

Frustration was fast to build but Leiko pushed it away. Slowly she saw what appeared to be her opening and she took it, slashing out fast at the other's thigh and then darting away again.

She let herself be cut, as the cut also appeared on Leiko's thigh. As that happened, the Other Leiko tried to make a strong upward slash, hoping that she would be distracted by the new cut.

Leiko had planned on the cut. She still remembered the what happened to one happened to the other. Still she didn't move quite fast enough and another small cut appeared on her shin. She grimaced at the sting but reached out a hand to grab the other's throat.

Leiko coughed a bit as she too struggled to breathe. She let up her grip enough so that she could hold but not strangle. She took her other hand and knocked the other's sword far from reaching distance and brought her own back to the opponent's throat. "Well it seems I may not have any other choice."

The other Leiko started laughing, and would have slapped her head if she could have reached it. "I know what we have to do! Alright, we each do something to the sword that we wield that is completely different from the other person. Then we trade blades. 'You must bring something from the present' right?" she said, still in the choke-hold.

Leiko paused and considered "Wow I'm so glad myself thought of that." She bent down and picked up both blades. With her own blade she carved a star in the others blade. Then taking the other's blade she carved an zig zag in her own. "Will that do?"

The other Leiko looked put out. "But now how do we know who's is who? I mean, you carved both swords, and the swords put out the same energy. Which one is yours?" she asked.

Leiko smiled, "Simple. There are two different designs. My sword has a zig zag and your's has a star. My idea is that if I take my sword back to the present it should have both a star and a zig zag on it."
