Mariah always did put people to the test, just to see how far she could push them before they crumbled, and to see if they were worthy of her respect and acknowledgment.

"So you wanna play it that way, eh? Well two can play at that game, Benny." She said, blinking once, "Let's just see how long you're willing to be in the game." Mari turned and walked towards the inner sanctuary.

"The monks are having a meeting right now and I want to hear what's going on. So you can sit here quietly or tag along with a melted-shut mouth, your choice." Mariai said to him, turning and following Sayuki at a run.

"gggrr", Benjiro listened to the girl for some reason. He just nodded as he followed her. He grinned as he tripped her friend using earth bending. When she turned back to him he was busy studying the flowers in the temple.

Sayuki snapped open her fan with three fingers and flicked it towards the ground, catching her with a cushion of air. "Are you alright?" Ai asked, her friend, dashing to her.

"Fine, thanks Ai."

Mariai glanced back at Benjiro, shaking her head. She turned down a small side path and grabbed a ledge, pulling herself up onto a window sill. Sayuki did the same, with slightly more difficulty in her dress. Two more times they jumped up, finally reaching a window towards the top where they could listen in on the monk's conversation.

Sayuki glanced down, "Ah?! We missed it! They're leaving right now! Now what are we going to do?"

Benjiro followed the girls. He wanted to see why they were in a rush. When he got there he just sighed when they were saying that it was over. Benjiro waited patiently while he was tossing fire from hand to hand.
